By now I hope you have all seen the black men of
yale that are going viral on twitter, they give me life .They are simply everything. They are going viral for many reasons but I will tell you why they give me life.

They are fine. Take one look at these men and you will become a believer these men are fine !!! Women everywhere were drooling and looking for each of their twitter handles when the pictures were released ! They come from all over the states so you may get lucky and find one from your city . My personal favoreite is @featheryjayy_ he is just so adoreable!

They are faithful. It's simple black men don't cheat.

They are Inspiring , they give young black men hope . They are the role model that the black male youth needs . Tunde has been the spokesperson of black men of Yale released the following statement to Blavity about it all .
"The purpose of #BlackMenofYaleUniversity was to showcase just a portion of the black men on our campus to have some positive image reinforcement for young aspiring men," he said in a statement to Blavity. "So often, the stereotypes surrounding black men don't include black men on college campuses, so we just wanted to provide an image of what OUR Ivy League experience looks like. This was just the first shoot of many, and we hope to expand the movement to change the way people around the world perceive universities like Yale."

The African American community does not fit into what ever box we have been put into before. A message to POC And non POC , you are allowed to do things that are for "Caucasian people" because the reality of it all is that BLACK PEOPLE DO THAT TOO . I put together a list of things that black People do too and here it is .


We go to the beach, we are not fraid to get nto the water or get out hair wet or any other stereotype you have ever believed before. The new age of black people we love the beach , we love the water the sand between our toes and we love the surf !

We are vegans and vegetarians , we care about our health we don't always eat the artery clogging soul food that youre hear about . Many of us are all natural as well as vegans and vegetarians ,when i became vegetarian i met about 5 other black vegetarians and it was awesome .

We travel We love to travel and get stamps on our passport , i have been out of the country twice! Its amazing we are traveling the states going to music festivals we areleaving the country and even backpacking europe yes we do that to . Not only are we traveling but we own travel agencies which takes me to the fact that

We are etreprenuers , We own businesses ever heard of black wall street? Well let me tell you its the same as wallstreet only with black entreprenuers . Black people own catering comapnies , clothing lines makeup lines ,publishing companies ! You name it black wallstreet has it .
We go to college not only do we go to colleges but thre are historivally black colleges and universities founded for us way back before affirmative action started.These universities have been held high in the black community and deemed notably prestigious and illustrious .

​We eat sushi ,again we are a diverse group of people we do not eat fried chicken everyday .We love to go to benihana and your local sushi bar just as much as the next sushi lover !

​We do yoga ,We love to be centered and find our inner namaste. Yoga is one of the most relaxing things I've ever done in my life. I've done hot yoga , yoga on a rooftop , yoga on a lawn ! It's amazing wherever you are and necessary to my relaxation process !
