History was made in Chicago, IL on Saturday September 24th 2016 and I was there to witness it. Chance The Rapper held the first ever music festival on the south sides U.S Cellular field home of the Chicago White Sox’s. Not only was Magnificent coloring day the first festival at "The Cell" it was the fist time every seat was sold with 47,000 people in attendance. Chance the rapper is no stranger to Chicago born and raised on the south side and being dedicated to giving back to the city in any way that he can . At only 23 years old Chance the rapper has appeared on day time TV , sold out stadiums and headlined festivals doing it all without a label.He is devoted to never signing a record deal and it is very admirable.Everyone is so proud of Chance for everything he has accomplished so far and doing it all without a label! That's truly a blessing in itself. Chance has had a solid following since the release of his first mixtape 10 day, followed suit with acid rap and then coloring book otherwise known as Chance 3,perhaps the most notable of the 3 mixtapes.
Chance the rapper headlined a sold out show Equipped with a star studded line up including Alicia Keys , John Legend , Lil Wayne , 2 Chainz , Tyler the Creator Lil Uzi vert And a very special performance by Francis and The Lights . The lineup was so diverse there was something for everyone to listen to. Perhaps the highlight of the festival was the surprise performance by Chicago legend Kanye West! One could explain the moment as sheer surprise and happiness! Rapper Tyler the creator was performing his set when his music was cut abruptly and he exited stage in confusion. While some concert goers thought his set was over they began to leave seats to go to concessions. I knew Tyler's set was not scheduled to end for another 20 minutes. Some stayed in their seats in confusion. The following moments ensused even more confusion as a man walked on stage , no one had recognized him yet . once concertgoers realized it was Kanye they began to scream and jump they began to rush the fields and jump down from higher levels all for a chance to get closer to Kanye West! It was like nothing I had ever seen before, concert goers were running over the dugouts, jumping down on top of porter potties all to get to the field! Although Tyler The Creators set was ended abruptly he could be seen stage right Vibing along to Kanye! Chance joined Mr. West on stage for a powerful performance of ultra-light beams.



The moment chance the rapper hit the stage was truly indescribable. The best feeling to me is always when an artist sells out a stadium and the whole crowd is singing every song word for word. I took a moment to stop recording so I could just watch chance and listen to him and it brought tears to my eyes. The sincerity and complexity that goes into everyone e of his songs is so evident when he performs. Chance the rapper performs in such a way that you can imagine everything he has ever been through and it's like you were there. He raps frequently about his mother and grandmother, his faith, and growing up. Chance views himself as a “grown ass kid” and it is evident so by the appearance of the puppet choir. The puppets urge Chance to remember the message and to stay true to himself. The puppets really keep him grounded and modest and down to earth.
The most refreshing part about chances set was when he truly took us to church with at least 10 minutes of blessings where I felt he truly began to preach. He can be heard saying
"Did you know that your blessing it ain't on no album but its coming?
Did you know that your blessing it ain't at no show, but it’s coming?
Did you know that your blessing it's not made of flesh but it’s coming?”
This spoke volumes to me and also showed the level of Chances faith. Many people search for blessings in all the wrong places. By saying it ain't on no album, it ain't at no show and it's not made of flesh Chance is saying, That blessings come at the most unexpected times it's not in the flesh or Worldly possessions it's when your praises go up.
Chance Labeled Magnificent Coloring day the best day ever and i think Concertgoers Tidal Viewers and critiques alike can agree with that statement.

I will motivate myself because I want to be the best version of me that I can be. I will no longer look at others and say that is what i aspire to be , because from now on I will be the best version of me that I can be .
I will change the things I don't like about me so that I may motivate me . From the inside out I will better myself from within so that I may begin to move from the outside in,
Learn to love myself and be my own best friend
Oh Heavenly Father where do I begin please forgive me for my sins and help me so I may never sin again .

I will take the time to find the things that I like so that I may invite them in and I may keep them for life. And in return life shall be golden and I will be happy and free.
Free to be me and live with no boundaries a life I created for me full of seeds that may bloom and produce fruit.
Fruit that I may eat so that I am no longer hungry searching for the missing piece because all along it was within me .I just couldn't see that all I had to be was me .
