I’ve always been a perfume girly. When I was younger, I remember having the Britney Spears fantasy perfume in the pink bottle with the rhinestones all over it and the Britney Spears curious perfume in the blue bottle that was shaped like a diamond. Those were my favorite fragrances growing up. I can smell fantasy just thinking about it just brings back memories. I also had three mist from Victoria secrets that I loved down. The two fragrances were love spell in the purple bottle pure seduction in the pink bottle and also very sexy in the red bottle.

Middle school was such a time for me. I went to school in the suburbs and my classmates were rich. My parents were able to keep up with the times thankfully. I came to school in designer clothes, Christian Dior sunglasses and so many perfumes that I was able to be introduced to from a young age fragrances like Ed Hardy  and Juicy Couture, Esacada, Paris Hilton,and Beyonce Heat were popular at the time. When I got to high school we had fragrances like Coach Poppy that was super trendy .

I can honestly say in my college years I fell off the perfume bandwagon and I switched over to LUSH products and more natural body care but, in my adult years I fell in love with perfume again and over time, I've curated a collection of perfumes that speak to my individuality and style. In this blog post, I'm going to share some of my favorite scents that have found a special place in my heart and on my vanity. I've done the work, so you don’t have to! Let me introduce you to some of My Personal Favs - scents that have become an essential part of my everyday life.

Baccarat Rouge 540:  Maybe I am exaggerating but this is my favorite perfume.  I would smell this fragrance so often when I worked in high end retail, and I never knew the name of it. People are gate keepers y’all, can you believe that? When I finally found out the name of it the price tag had me shook. I spent years buying dupes of it and replicas until I finally received the real thing on my 28th birthday. I wore it to a Chicago Bulls game and had the man in front of me howling! And y’all he knew the fragrance by name. This fragrance is a mesmerizing blend. Top notes are Saffron and Jasmine; middle notes are Amberwood and Ambergris; base notes are Fir Resin and Cedar It's perfect for those special evenings when you want to feel effortlessly elegant and alluring.

Burberry Her: A replica of Baccarat rouge 540. A fruity Gourmand  made by the same perfumer Maison Francis Kurkdjian bursting with energy and vibrancy, Burberry Her is my go-to scent for daytime adventures. Picture this, top notes are Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Sour Cherry, Black Currant, Mandarin Orange and Lemon; middle notes are Violet and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Vanilla, Cashmeran, Woody Notes, Amber, Oakmoss and Patchouli. That just screams fun and confidence but also RICH Energy. When it comes to Burberry Her I have to mention my favs which are Her , Her Eau de Toilette, Her Elixir and Her Goddess. The Burberry Her line simply does not Miss. 

Cloud by Ariana Grande: Ah, Cloud... where do I even begin? A fruity floral gourmand and the little sister of baccarat.I personally have 3 bottles of Cloud sitting on my vanity at this moment . Cloud is a perfume by one of my favorite artist Ariana Grande and surprisingly its GOOD. Top notes are Lavender, Pear and Bergamot; middle notes are Whipped Cream, Coconut, Praline and Vanilla Orchid; base notes are Musk and Woody Notes. I reach for this one whenever don’t want to use my actual Baccarat.

Yara by Lattafa: When I'm in the mood for luxury and missing my time in Dubai, Yara by Lattafa never disappoints. This Perfume has literally made a man say to me that you smell so good when your next to me I can’t focus.  Yara smells powdery and pretty yet still its RICH, Top notes are Orchid, Heliotrope and Tangerine; middle notes are Gourmand Accord and Tropical Fruits; base notes are Vanilla, Musk and Sandalwood. It’s like perfect for the princess vibes.

Versace Yellow Diamonds: Is a floral I just can’t explain why I love it so much. This one but the smell is so distinct to me whenever I smell it I immediately recognize it. This one is sunshine in a bottle! Versace Yellow Diamonds is my go-to scent for those days when I need a pick me up The top notes are Amalfi Lemon, Pear, Bergamot and Neroli; middle notes are Mimosa, Freesia, Water Lily and African Orange Flower; base notes are Musk, Guaiac Wood and Amber. It’s a really good Summer fragrance while still having a hint of that amber, musk, and wood that I like.

Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche: Fresh, floral, and oh-so-chic, Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche was my everyday essential for a while . Its lively blend of jasmine, citron, and teakwood is perfect for any occasion, whether it's a day at the office or a brunch date with friends. I got many compliments wearing this one! Top notes are Citron and Aldehydes; middle note is Jasmine; base notes are Teak Wood and Amber.

Lancome Idole and La Vie Est Belle: I got to be honest my mama put me on to these two and I was hesitant at first but baby when I tell you these smell so good, so sophisticated and not a lot of people know about them . These two are like the dynamic duo of my fragrance collection. Lancome Idole's floral and musky notes make it oh so delicious while La Vie Est Belle's sweet and gourmand aroma is ideal for cozy occasions.

After listing a few of my personal favs it’s clear that I’m a gourmand Girly, and I’m okay with that! Shout out to Gourmand. Let’s get into the crowd favorites and scents that I’ve heard about or have smelled but haven’t made the purchase for myself just yet.

Mojave Ghost by Byredo: This is a fragrance I have not tried personally but just by reading the notes; Top notes are Citron and Aldehydes; middle note is Jasmine; base notes are Teak Wood and Amber I know that I would be interested and maybe even a fan. Subtle, yet alluring, Mojave Ghost by Byredo transports me to the vast, serene landscapes of the Mojave Desert with its delicate notes of ambrette, magnolia, and sandalwood. Its ethereal scent embodies the essence of wanderlust and exploration. Y'all know I've been known to be a traveler myself.

Angel by Mugler: Bold, daring, and utterly unforgettable, Angel by Mugler is a timeless classic that never fails to make a statement. For me there are way too many notes but for others this one is a Staple in their collection.  Top notes are Cotton Candy, Coconut, Cassis, Melon, Jasmine, Bergamot, Pineapple and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Honey, Red Berries, Blackberry, Plum, Apricot, Jasmine, Peach, Orchid, Nutmeg, Caraway, Rose and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Patchouli, Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Amber, Musk and Sandalwood..

Alien by Mugler:Step into the realm of mystery and intrigue with Alien by Mugler. When I worked in high end retail this fragrance was a signature of my co-worker Amanda. I almost chased her down one day asking what she was wearing. Alien was re introduced to me recently by my cousin, and I have to bring it to you readers for that reason. This fragrance is too good not to share! Top note is Jasmine Sambac; middle note is Cashmeran; base note is Amber.

MOD by Ariana Grande: MOD by Ariana Grande is a playful, youthful fragrance that adds a touch of whimsy to my collection. MOD captivates with its vibrant mix of raspberry, pear, and marshmallow. Ariana has two versions of MOD that I’ve been meaning to purchase I just haven’t. I’ve been stuck on my favs for a while, and I just haven’t had the motivation to buy anything new but these perfumes smell absolutely stunning and I would recommend them.

Eilish by Billie Eilish: When it comes to Billie, people LOVE her. I’ve been known to sing Ocean eyes on a occasion or two myself. The perfume of Billie Eilish captures the essence of rebellion and individuality with its bold, gender-neutral fragrance. Top notes are Sugar, Red Berries and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Vanilla, Cacao, Spicy Notes and Rose; base notes are Tonka Bean, Amber, Musk and Woody Notes. This scent is so on brand for Billie.

Kayali Perfumes: Comes from the house of HUDA Beauty and there is a vast collection of Kayali scents featured on my store front. I just haven’t been able to narrow it down just yet, because she has 20 perfumes in her fragrance base. Each scent is very unique and luxury. Kayali reminds me so much of my time spent in Dubai especially now that she has joined the cast of Dubai Bling.I Recommend Trying this Discovery Set listed on my amazon storefront for under $40 USD.Discovery sets are a great way to introduce new fragrance into your rotation.

Miss Dior: Classic and timeless, Miss Dior is the epitome of femininity and romance. Its floral bouquet, featuring notes of rose, jasmine, and patchouli, evokes images of blooming gardens and whispered promises. Well that’s what the website says but to me it’s just very Grown and Pretty again this is a fragrance for the pretty pink Pilates girls and as w ehave already discovered I’m more of a gourmand girly! However , for the days when I’m feeling in a pretty little mood ill indulge in miss Dior!
