Dear Reader,
I need you to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that it is ok to start over as many times as it takes. I recently passed my real estate exam after the fourth try, I had to go home and study four times, and that's ok. At the end of the day, I accomplished the goal. there were many times I became discouraged, I almost gave up, I cried I loss sleep and everything. What I noticed was every time I went to take that test I scored higher than the last time. I recently finished my 75 soft challenge which challenged me to work out 75 days, sometimes twice a day, to reach the ultimate healthy version of myself. What happened after that 75-day challenge is I reverted back to my old ways. I began to eat junk food and I stopped working out. I had a choice to make knowing that What I do now is a mirror image of the type of person I believe that I am (either consciously or subconsciously). I could choose to either: One:Throw myself a pity party, saying unkind words to myself and telling myself how I'm a failure because I reverted back to my old ways. Two: I can look at myself in the mirror and tell myself it is ok to restart on this journey as long as i don't do nothing. Doing nothings leave you with no progress at all. Atomic Habits says you only have to be 1% better each day.Which I noticed I was doing. If you can get 1 percent better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you’re done.
